Hester Fabrication, like many businesses, started in a garage in 2007 as a side business, but mostly from Daniel Hester’s passion for designing and building things. He quickly built a reputation as someone to seek out to design and implement a solution. After working on a couple major bridge projects at his real job as a civil engineer, Daniel had had enough of it and turned the side business into a fulltime business and started with a small shop in Oakland in 2012. The business quickly grew, and the projects become more and more technical which helped separate the business from the others as the one that can deliver the solution.
Hester Fabrication is now in Hayward California which provides an ideal location to serve local, regional, and global customers. The business has grown to have a wide breadth of equipment all under one roof that matched with our engineering expertise can provide customers from around the globe a perfect solution to their manufacturing challenges.
We continue to pursue technically challenging work in a wide range of industries where we can bring value to our customers.
Daniel started Hester Fabrication in his garage in 2010 with the goal of designing and building innovative solutions to the highest standards in the industry. From the beginning, his unique ideas have been sought out by companies across the country and in a variety of industries ranging from manufacturing, to aerospace, to retail. While Daniel has a degree in civil engineering from San Diego State University, he considers his extensive hands-on experience to be his biggest influence in creating ideas that improve work flow and streamline production. Prior to starting Hester Fabrication he worked in the heavy construction industry managing the construction of major civil projects including the Bay St. Louis Bridge in Mississippi and the San Francisco Bay Bridge Self Anchored Suspension Span. While working in heavy construction he gained extensive knowledge and experience in heavy lift and rigging design, as well as learned the importance of project management.
In his spare time Daniel enjoys spending time with his family, flying airplanes, and training his dog.
